1. Who We Are

Faroeseis operated by Flowcore ApS (“Flowcore”, “we”, “us”).Faroese is a Faroese language proofreading service available as an add-on to your Usable subscription.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account information — name and email address from your Usable/Keycloak account, used for authentication and identifying your workspace.
  • Documents and conversations — the text you submit for proofreading and any chat messages with the assistant. These are stored in our database so you can access them across devices.
  • Usage data — token counts and timestamps for billing and service monitoring.

3. How We Process Your Text

When you proofread text, it is sent to third-party language model providers (currently Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT) via OpenRouter. All requests are sent with zero-day data retention (ZDR) enforced. This means:

  • The model providers do not store your text after processing.
  • Your text is not used to train or improve their models.
  • No human at the provider reviews your submissions.

4. Data Storage

Your documents, corrections, and conversations are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Microsoft Azure in the EU (West Europe region). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Azure-managed encryption).

5. Data Retention

Your documents and conversations are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual documents from the workspace at any time. If you close your account, all associated data will be deleted within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

  • OpenRouter — routes LLM requests to model providers with ZDR enforced.
  • Keycloak (Flowcore Auth) — handles authentication via the Usable identity system.
  • Flowcore — event sourcing platform for audit trail and data consistency.
  • Microsoft Azure — database and infrastructure hosting (EU West).

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us at privacy@flowcore.io to exercise these rights.
